Eating out and supping: This new restaurant opens on the Dobbeplas

Persian restaurant Bo en Ro is moving. The owner of the property has since found a new tenant. A restaurant will open soon where you can rent a sup board in addition to good food and drinks.

The new tenant, catering entrepreneur Reno Hilgersom, will open restaurant and party pavilion PuuRR on the Dobbe in May.

Fish dishes

Reno also owns the Zoetermeer dinner and party farm Het Wapen van Zoetermeer, De Bles in Stompwijk, restaurant Leeuwenberg in The Hague, and PuuRR aan de Vliet in Leidschendam. We will have a similar eatery with the same appearance in Zoetermeer on the Dobbeplas. We can go there later for lunch, drinks, dinner, celebrations and parties. The building will undergo a complete metamorphosis in six weeks with a new bar, neon lighting, a beautifully furnished loft for groups and a lockable conservatory with a view of the park and the water.

On the menu

The menu of PuuRR aan de Dobbe will feature various fish dishes such as sole, salmon fillet and dorade. Meat lovers can indulge themselves with pork medallions, angus burgers and tournedos. We also see various meal salads, lemon risotto and other vegetarian dishes on the summer menu. Every month the range of monthly specials changes with a fish or meat type of the day and a special lunch dish.

SUP

Just like with restaurant PuuRR aan de Vliet, Reno also wants to rent out supboards at the Dobbeplas. “In Leidschendam, guests can enjoy our dishes and drinks on the menu, and then paddle across the Vliet with a rented supboard. The permit is still being applied for, but I hope we can also offer this in Zoetermeer. How cool would it be to cross the Dobbeplas.”

The renovation of the building at Markt 1 will start on April 1. On Friday, May 12, PuuRR will open on the Dobbe.
