Paris (AP) – Co-favorite Carlos Alcaraz did not show any weakness at the start of the French Open. The 19-year-old Spaniard clearly won 6-4, 6-2, 6-0 against Argentinian Juan Ignacio Londero in Paris.
This underpinned Alcaraz, who last triumphed in Madrid had successively beaten Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev, its ambitions to win the title at the classic clay court in the French capital.
