13-year-old Josephina Neumann from table tennis champion TTC Berlin Eastside has further improved her record at the European Youth Championships with gold in the U15 doubles.
Alongside Koharu Itagaki (Bad Königshofen), she won the final in Gliwice (Poland) on Sunday against the French Leana Hochart/Ninas Guo Zheng 3-0. Last year the duo came second in the youth championships. Neumann’s balance thus adds up to two gold and two bronze medals. In the singles, Neumann was eliminated in the quarter-finals after a 4-2 defeat against Hochart.
