Easter weekend will be sunny with temperatures up to 18 degrees | Weather news

The day starts gray today, but after that the sun breaks through and it will not leave us for the entire Easter weekend. According to the RMI, it is also mild, with temperatures up to 18 degrees.

This morning, however, there will be morning mist, fog or low clouds first. Code yellow even applies throughout the country for fog and that until 8 o’clock. In West Flanders that is until 9 o’clock and on the coast even until noon. But then the first clearings appear. Clouds may increase again later in the day, but it will remain dry, with maximums of 13 degrees on the coast to 19 degrees locally in the center of the country.

Tonight and tonight it will be partly cloudy with only high veil clouds. At the end of the night, low cloud fields may drift in from the east. The minimums are between 4 degrees in the High Fens and 8 degrees in Low Belgium.

Saturday mainly over the east there are low clouds at first, while there are broad clearings elsewhere. During the day it will be sunny everywhere. It will also remain dry with maximums of 12 degrees in the High Ardennes, 14 degrees at the sea to 17 degrees in the center.

Easter Sunday it stays dry and sunny. The maximums are between 13 degrees in the High Fens and 17 or 18 degrees in the center of the country. The wind will blow light to moderate from east to southeast. In the afternoon you have to take into account a sea breeze from the northeast on the coast.

Monday it will be dry and sunny again, with high veil clouds. In the late afternoon or evening, a British disturbance may penetrate the west of our country, with the possibility of some rain or a shower. The maximums fluctuate from 13 degrees at the sea and in the High Fens to 18 degrees in the center of the country.

Tuesday it will be variable to heavily cloudy and there may be a shower, but in most places it would remain dry. The maximums are then between 12 and 16 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday Partly cloudy with a chance of a few showers, but also clear spells. The maximums are between 11 and 12 degrees in the High Ardennes and by the sea, and 14 or 15 degrees in the center.

Where does that sea breeze come from? “The greater the temperature difference between the sea and the mainland, the stronger the breeze”
