Earwash for debuting indoor football players from FC Marlène in the Champions League

The indoor football players of FC Marlène have not been able to rise above themselves in Spain. Coach Mo Bouchibti’s team lost two matches in the Champions League with big numbers and was eliminated.

On Tuesday it immediately had to deal with favorite Burela. The Spaniards were too strong for the North Hollanders at home 6-0. A day later, Bitonto, the national champion of Italy, was waiting. They scored big against FC Marlène and the score only ended at 13-0.

FC Marlène knew in advance that it would be a very difficult story. The opponents in the Champions League are full-fledged professionals and all have internationals who play for leading countries in indoor football. At FC Marlène they only train twice a week.

It was the first time for the club from Heerhugowaard to participate in the Champions League.
