It is rumbling in the soil at Uithuizen. On Saturday around noon, residents were rocked by a strong earthquake. The KNMI’s automatic measuring station registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale at 10:20 am.
At the beginning of September, there was a magnitude 2.4 quake near Uithuizen. Two earthquakes also took place in August with Uithuizen as the epicenter. Each time the force of the earthquake is heavier.
