The Ukrainian soccer record champions Dynamo Kyiv can still hope for the Champions League participation.
In the qualifying first leg, which was held in Lodz, Poland because of the war, Kyiv beat Austria’s Sturm Graz 1-0 (1-0).
Oleksander Karawajew scored the only goal of the game (28th minute). The second leg will take place in Graz on Tuesday. The playoff then continues on the way to the Champions League group stage.
