Dynamo Dresden: Yannick Stark moves to Manisa FK

2nd Turkish League

One week before the end of the transfer phase, Dynamo Dresden had to accept their 16th departure this summer. The third division lost an experienced midfielder to Turkey in Yannick Stark. There, the 31-year-old joins the second division club Manisa FK and receives a contract until 2024.

“When planning our transfers this season, we set ourselves the goal of building an athletic and dynamic team. We think Yannick Stark will be a very important part of the team in that sense. The transfer was not easy. We worked on it for about a month and a half. He was one of the captains of the club he came from, one of the important players. He didn’t want to leave the club so easily, it was difficult to convince him, but luckily it worked out,” said Engin Anli, Manisa vice-chairman.

Stark switched from Darmstadt 98 to Dynamo Dresden in the summer of 2020 and, as a regular player, first experienced promotion and then relegation to the 3rd division. This season he came off the bench in four out of five games.
