Ex-St. Pauli professional 8th newcomer
Dynamo Dresden, who have been relegated to the second division, have confirmed their eighth signing for the coming season in the third division, left winger Christian Conteh from Feyenoord Rotterdam. The 22-year-old comes on loan from the Dutch top club for a year, where he is still under contract until 2024. “He’s a classic winger – quick, brave in one-on-ones and capable of scoring goals. With his qualities he will enrich our offensive game. In addition, it is very positive that we found an immediate solution with all sides so that he could still join the team in the training camp,” said Dynamo sports director Ralf Becker.
Conteh, who was born in Hamburg, turned professional at FC St. Pauli and joined Feyenoord in 2020 for €400,000. Due to injuries, the offensive power never really gained a foothold in the port city and only made two appearances. Loans to SV Sandhausen and FC Dordrecht followed. There Conteh recently continued his top form, scoring four goals and six assists in 16 second division games.
The SGD strengthens with Christian Conteh. The 22-year-old is coming to “Florence on the Elbe” from Dutch first division club Feyenoord Rotterdam on loan until June 30, 2023 and has already arrived at the training camp in Bad Häring. https://t.co/gS9dFiwGb4 #sgd1953 pic.twitter.com/7JbPM9r2qN
