Dylan Groenewegen avoids Schiphol and opts for a camper to Copenhagen

A smart move by cyclist Dylan Groenewegen. Due to the long waiting times at Schiphol, the 29-year-old sprinter traveled with his father’s camper to the start of the Tour de France in Copenhagen.

The born Amsterdammer did not feel like the long lines at Schiphol and chose eggs for his money. Queues at the airport were reported to have risen to more than three hours. “I didn’t like standing in a row as long as I called my father if he couldn’t take me with the camper. I found traveling much more relaxed that way. It has nothing to do with extra protection against corona,” said Groenewegen. at the press conference of his team Team BikeExchange-Jayco before the start of the Tour in the Danish capital.
