AS Roma confirmed the arrival of Paulo Dybala on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Argentinian comes transfer-free from Juventus. He signs a contract with coach José Mourinho’s club until mid-2025.
Dybala left for Portugal last Monday, where the Conference League winner is currently completing a training camp. The Argentinian underwent a medical examination in Portugal.
In March of this year it was already announced that the attacker would not renew his expiring contract with Juventus. The Argentine played 293 official games for the club from Turin, scoring 115 times.
Dybala became champion five times, conquered the Coppa Italia four times and won the Italian supercup three times with the ‘Old Lady’.
Dybala’s career started with Argentina’s Instituto, which sold him to Palermo in the summer of 2012. The attacker played 34 caps for Argentina, but did not participate in last year’s Copa América won by his country.
His new club, AS Roma, lost a friendly match against Sporting CP (3-2) on Tuesday in Almancil, Portugal. On Saturday, July 23, Mourinho’s team will play a practice match against Nice in Albufeira.
