Dwingeloo was ready, but the launch of the moon rocket is canceled again

The launch of moon rocket Artemis towards the moon is canceled. The launch has been canceled due to technical issues.

At the CAMRAS in Dwingeloo they were ready to follow the mission via the radio telescope. “Let’s hope it works out this time,” said Tammo Jan Dijkema of CAMRAS this morning. So this is not the case.

The mission was originally scheduled to take place on August 29, but was canceled at the last minute due to technical issues. One of the four engines on board could not get up to temperature. Also this time there was a technical problem and the rocket suffered from fuel leakage.

Shortly after the launch, the first signals should already be received in Dwingeloo. It is not yet clear when the next launch attempt will be.
