While in Northern Germany and Denmark billions are being invested in fast train connections and a tunnel between the two countries, in The Hague it remains silent in the search for connections to these. Yes, last year in the coalition agreement of Rutte IV, three billion euros were reserved for the Lelylijn, but according to those plans, that fast train from Amsterdam via Drachten and Heerenveen will not go further than the main station in Groningen. In addition, at least another three billion is needed to complete the budget financially.
