DVHN Comment | ‘Terrible stories’ from holidaymakers with delays? If only we had listened to the really terrible experiences of the suitcase throwers at Schiphol

In 1903 railway workers in Amsterdam, dissatisfied with their circumstances, stopped working for a few days, and rail traffic in the capital was paralyzed. Outside the union, the KLM employees who handle the baggage, the ‘suitcase throwers’, also went on strike. That strike has now ended, but the chaos continues.
