UEFA appointed Mete Kalkavan and Koray Gencerler in the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room in the first match of the UEFA Champions League 1st qualifying round between Lithuania’s Zalgiris and North Macedonia’s Struga teams.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, Mete Kalkavan was appointed as VAR and Koray Gencerler as AVAR for the first match of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round, which will be played tomorrow between Zalgiris and Struga.
The match will start at 19.00 at the LFF Stadium in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Kamal Umudlu will be the fourth referee of the match.
The team that will advance in the Zalgiris-Struga matchup will be the opponent of Galatasaray in the second qualifying round.
