Turkish referees Abdulkadir Bitigen and Halil Umut Meler will blow the whistle in the 2024 European Football Championship qualifying matches.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, Bitigen will referee the Iceland-Liechtenstein match to be played tomorrow in Group J, and Meler will referee the Bosnia and Herzegovina-Portugal match.
In the match where Iceland will host Liechtenstein, Abdulkadir Bitigen’s assistants will be Ceyhun Sesigüzel and Mehmet Emin Tuğral. In the match, Bahattin Şimşek will serve as the fourth referee and Hakan Ceylan will serve as AVAR.
Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Kerem Ersoy will be the assistants of Halil Umut Meler in the match that Bosnia and Herzegovina will play against Portugal at home. The fourth referee in the match will be Arda Kardeşler and the AVAR will be Alper Ulusoy.
