Dutchman (41) arrested in Spain after police raid on building with drugs and sex pills

A 41-year-old Dutchman has been arrested in the Spanish town of Gandía, near Valencia. That happened after the police raided a room in his name and found a storage place, point of sale and user space for drugs and sex pills.

This has been announced by the national police in Spain. Media as Levante EMV and El Espanol write about the case. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is not aware of the find and therefore cannot confirm the arrest of our compatriot. “In any case, we have not received a request for consular assistance,” a spokesman for the ministry added. This is also not mandatory for detained Dutch nationals.

During the investigation, agents secretly placed surveillance equipment at the property, observing how buyers came to the property of the Dutchman and who it was about. In addition to being a distribution point, the building also served as a kind of improvised coffee shop where narcotics were sold and used.

Erection medicine

The ground floor of the building was set up for the latter. The Dutchman who was arrested would act as a ‘company manager’ and, according to Spanish media, already had a criminal record. It concerns cocaine, marijuana and hash that was found and seized. A scale was also found to measure the narcotics.

In addition to the drugs, a large number of pills were found with the active ingredient sidenafil, a drug that, among other things, stimulates erection in men. Our 41-year-old compatriot was arrested on suspicion of a crime against public health and had to appear before the examining magistrate. He is awaiting the substantive hearing of his case.
