Travel organizations are angry that, according to Schiphol CEO Ruud Sondag, restrictions may still be necessary for the number of travelers during the busy May holidays and summer. The Dutch travel industry association ANVR calls Sondag’s statements “unacceptable” and states that it appears that Schiphol is “trying to sweep its street clean” by shifting responsibility for the problem to the handling companies.
