The roughly 200,000 Dutch people who master Dutch Sign Language (NGT) can now use a gesture for the term ‘enslaved’. The initiators report this to the Dutch Sign Center, the IN Gebaren foundation and the Tropenmuseum to NU.nl. Until now, only a ‘slave’ gesture was available.
