Dutch Parliament calls on keeping new elections as soon as possible after government trap

In the Netherlands, the House of Representatives wants new elections to come as soon as possible. A motion of that scope, submitted by GroenLinks-PvdA leader Frans Timmermans during the debate on the cabinet trap, was unanimously accepted on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Electoral Council, October 29 would be the first option.
