On average, the Dutch will also pay much more for their energy consumption in 2022. This is mainly due to the higher supply rates for gas and electricity, reports the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Tax measures in the Netherlands partly offset the higher rates. According to the CBS, a household with an average energy consumption will lose almost double that amount this year.
