The Dutch government is working with a special ‘Operation Beethoven’ to retain chip machine maker ASML for the Netherlands. The company makes machines necessary for the production of computer chips that are used in the latest iPhones and other electronics. Other large companies are also looking across the Dutch border to expand. Even Prime Minister Mark Rutte is personally involved in the issue.
