BRUGES – How did the apparently neat 19-year-old Rick B. from Spijkenisse and the 20-year-old Amsterdam Kaylee V. come into contact with a people smuggling organization? The two were arrested in Kortrijk in October last year with their car full of boats, motorbikes and life jackets. Items they had collected in Germany and which, according to the Belgian justice system, were intended for the crossing from the French coast to England.
