According to Hahn, De Mol indicated that the instructions come directly from The Hague. There is no question of an evacuation, but a voluntary choice to leave the country on the basis of very weighty advice.
“An emergency support center under the Dutch flag is being set up in Western Ukraine in Lviv, the largest city in western Ukraine, not far from the Polish border,” says Hahn. “Dutch people can go there for emergency documents or information. According to the embassy, pets can in principle not be brought into the EU unless they are 100% covered by European regulations.”
