Duncan Laurence still causes annoyance to Jan Uriot three years after their mishap. The star journalist of Privé still sees the singer as a poser. “You’re just gay, aren’t you?”
It came to a verbal scuffle three years ago between Jan Uriot and Duncan Laurence. At the time, the Private journalist called it strange that the singer was suddenly bisexual. “First he talks about a gentleman on the couch at home and then it was suddenly that there might also be a lady.”
Angry Duncan
Must be a PR thing, Jan then concluded. Well, that didn’t exactly go down well with Duncan. He pretended he had never heard of Jan. “Who is that? Oh, is he angry? Why?” And in another medium: “Jan, get your shit together and research your information carefully when you write about it.”
Now, three years later, Jan brings this up again in his column What does Jan think. “I had a lot of trouble with that, because I had written that he was gay. Well, that wasn’t true. No, no, that wasn’t true. But now he is engaged to Jordan Garfield. They are getting married soon and then I think: what was wrong with that?

Maybe Duncan wasn’t ready to be called gay then? “Yes, ready for laundry? Stop cumming.”
He’s just a poser, says Jan. “He was very angry with me. I thought: what are we going to get hanging on my bike? I knew better.”

Roy Donders is already behaving so strangely, Jan thinks. “Roy Donders is acting strangely. We can’t talk about his sexuality anymore. Then I think: don’t be so retarded. That makes me a little itchy.”
It bothers Jan, especially because Roy will soon come up with a reality soap about his new life as a straight man. “Of course the viewer wants to know: how can you, as a homosexual, suddenly start living with a lady and become a father? That is quite interesting, but we are not allowed to talk about it and I think that is strange.”
