Dumoulin is not fit and misses Italian race Strade Bianche

Cyclist Tom Dumoulin is missing on Saturday in the Strade Bianche, the Italian cycling race on partly unpaved roads. His Jumbo-Visma team reports that the 31-year-old Limburger is not fit and is therefore not at the start. Tiesj Benoot, Sepp Kuss, Robert Gesink, Koen Bouwman, Timo Roosen and Milan Vader will be in action for the Dutch team.

Dumoulin still rode in the Tour of the United Arab Emirates last week. There he could not stay with the leaders in the toughest mountain stages. Tadej Pogacar won that stage race.
