Tom Dumoulin was able to participate in the Amstel Gold Race for the first time since 2016, the race that made him a fan of cycling as a child and that last year stimulated him to continue as a professional. The 31-year-old Limburger could not play a leading role, but did enjoy 254 kilometers through his home province.
