Denzel Dumfries gave Internazionale the victory on Saturday in the first game of this season in the Serie A. The Orange international scored deep in injury time in the away game against Lecce: 1-2. AC Milan booked a difficult home win over Udinese (4-2), while Paris Saint-Germain convinced in France.
Dumfries scored the winning goal for Inter in the 95th minute. The defender worked the ball in from close range after he had headed the post earlier in the game.
Inter had already taken the lead at Lecce in the second minute. Romelu Lukaku headed in after Matteo Darmian extended a cross with the head. Shortly after the break, Lecce surprisingly equalized with a goal from Assan Ceesay.

AC Milan opens season with difficult victory
Reigning national champions AC Milan also managed to win. The ‘Rossoneri’ fell behind Udinese after two minutes with a goal from Rodrigo Becão, but then coach Stefano Pioli’s side turned the deficit into a lead in just four minutes. Theo Hernández (penalty) and Ante Rebic were accurate.
Udinese did not give in and equalized on the stroke of half-time via Adam Masina. Brahim Díaz gave Milan the lead again immediately after the interruption, after which Rebic made the 4-2 more than twenty minutes before time. Bram Nuytinck completed the ninety minutes at Udinese.
Marten de Roon, Hans Hateboer and Teun Koopmeiners booked a 0-2 victory at Sampdoria with Atalanta. The Dutch all three had a base place with the formation from Bergamo.
Sampdoria thought he would take the lead after fifteen minutes, but Francesco Caputo’s goal was rejected on the advice of the VAR due to a foul. Rafael Tolói gave Atalanta the lead twelve minutes later. Deep into stoppage time, Ademola Lookman made the decision.
