PSG also scores five times against Montpellier

In France, Paris Saint-Germain also scored five times in the second league match. The team of the new coach Christophe Galtier was 5-2 too strong for Montpellier in the first home game, after Clermont was beaten 5-0 last week.

PSG needed an own goal just before half-time to break the spell. Midway through the first half, Kylian Mbappe had missed another penalty. When the home team received a penalty just before half-time, Neymar went behind the ball and the Brazilian star did not fail from 11 meters.

After Neymar had taken care of the 3-0 with a header, Mbappe still took a goal. The superstar scored from a corner kick. Just before that, Montpellier had scored the honorary goal. Renato Sanchez was the scorer of the Parisians’ fifth goal.

PSG convincingly leads Ligue 1 after two games. The reigning champions of France are still clear and have an impressive goal difference of ten goals for and two goals against.
