Duinpanne honors 100,000th visitor

It has been an ambition since it was founded in 1996, but Duinpanne has only now surpassed the 100 000 visitors mark. The switch from a nature education center to an attraction with a high experiential value is clearly catching on.

Also interested from Northern France

Duinpanne has grown into an important educational center on the coast. For example, the visitor center annually receives many schools for guided tours and sea classes remain on the program. Not only Flemish students reach Duinpanne, there is also interest from Northern French schools.

By the summer of 2024, the dune garden will be completely redesigned. With this, the visitor center wants to continue to focus on innovation.
