The sly side of the divisive duchess has been revealed, which is highlighted in a new documentary Camilla’s Country Life.
The documentary follows Camilla’s day as the guest editor of Country Life magazine. In honor of her upcoming anniversary, the duchess also posed on the cover of the magazine.
According to the British newspaper Mirror, in the documentary Top Gear show host Jeremy Clarkson reveals that years ago he and the duchess secretly snuck in for a cigarette.
– I think he might still smoke the occasional cigarette, but you’d have to ask him, Clarkson hints.
Camilla’s mischievous sense of humor is also revealed in the documentary. Queen Elizabeth’s cousin and Camilla’s close friend says that Camilla likes to tell daring and naughty jokes.
According to Clarkson, Camilla, who is contradictory in Britain, gets along well with people.
– There is no doubt that he comes from a privileged background.
At one time, Camilla was even called the most hated woman in Britain. There were already rumors about Camilla and Prince Charles’s relationship during the marriage of Charles and Princess Diana.
Camilla and Andrew Parker Bowles married in 1973. The couple divorced in 1995. Charles and Camilla’s wedding was celebrated in 2005.
