Dsquared2 CEO is said to be leaving the brand

After just a year in the role, Dsquared2 CEO Ennio Fontana is said to have resigned from his post.

Milan sources reported this to the industry magazine Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), which reported the news but did not give a reason for the alleged separation.

Fontana succeeded Sergio Azzolari in March 2022 after serving as general manager for Roberto Cavalli. He has also previously held a number of leadership positions, including at Tod’s and Plein Group./p>

In his role at Dsquared2, Fontana was tasked with strengthening the brand’s international business development and building on expansion strategies to consolidate the company’s positioning.

Dsquared2 decided not to present its fall/winter 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week, which ended last Sunday.

Instead, founders Dean and Dan Caten were in the Italian fashion capital back in January to present their fall 2024 show, where they sent identical twins onto the catwalk.
