That is bitter! The German national handball team loses in the Euro Cup (preparatory tournament for the EM 2024) in Sweden 23:32 (8:16) and the foxes lose their captain.

At least Berlin’s young professional Max Beneke (19) was happy. The left-hander, who is currently scoring goals in the foxes farm team at VfL Potsdam in the 2nd division, was allowed to play against the Swedes from the start. Beneke scored his first international goal in the 9th minute.
