A woman ended up in the water in a very special way in Krommenie last night. After a night out in the cafe, she and a man went into the bushes with too many drinks, according to the police. But not without danger. The woman fell into the ditch.
Around three o’clock last night a woman ended up in the water in Krommenie after a night out. The woman decided to end a nice evening in the cafe with a man with a ‘loving adventure’.
“The two had a pleasant evening in the pub and wanted to put the flowers out,” says the police.
The woman, in a drunken state, lost her balance and fell into the nearby ditch. The man spent twenty minutes trying to get her out and, in the last attempt to get her out, fell in himself.
‘Lovebirds’
The police arrived together with the fire brigade, but that turned out to be no longer necessary. The two came out on their own. The woman was taken to hospital for a check-up because she had been in the cold water for a while.
According to the police, ‘both lovebirds’ are doing well.
