A drunk driver caused an accident on the Boschdijk in Eindhoven on Friday afternoon. About 20 drivers filmed or took pictures of the accident as they drove past. The police have therefore thrown them on the receipt.
The driver has been arrested. According to a 112 correspondent, there were several bottles of liquor in the car, including a drinking carton of wine.
The drunk driver hit another car and ended up upside down on the road. The car that was hit collided with another bus. Two of the three cars are towed away.
Filmers on the receipt
Many people who drove by after the police had partially closed the road took photos or video footage of the accident. Often they did so while they were behind the wheel.
“Of course that is not possible. That is why 15 to twenty people can soon expect a receipt on the doormat. Agents present have noted their license plates,” says a police spokesperson.
