The Arro Ypres police zone received the accident around 2.54 hours. Emergency services rushed on the spot and transferred the young man to the Jan Yperman Hospital in Ypres for a check -up. He was not injured. A breath analysis showed that the driver tested positively on alcohol.
The car involved, a Dacia Sandero of about a year old, suffered serious damage and was towed. The police further investigate the incident.
