Last week our editors went looking for the most beautiful Christmas tree in Zoetermeer. City residents sent photos of both fairytale trees and hilarious decorations.
One thing is clear: the Zoetermeer owners of the submitted Christmas trees are very proud of their tree. Some people like it minimalist, others can’t get enough of glitter. And now the winner…or actually the winners. Because we have two! Both Natalie Hageluken and Ranoe Kalpoe have such strikingly decorated Christmas trees that we end up in a shared first place this year.
‘Having fun at Christmas’
Ranoe from Oosterheem has one Stitch Christmas tree in her living room. “I made it for my daughter because she absolutely loves it Stitch. I get a lot of reactions from people who absolutely love the tree. But some find the tree too busy. To each their own of course.” Ranoe’s son has one for next year Rick & Morty Christmas tree asked his mother. “Well, we’ll see about that,” Ranoe says jokingly. “It would then become bright green: his favorite color.”

Natalie has one Disney Candy Christmas tree in her living room. “We always do something hysterical at Christmas. We love being crazy!” Ranoe and Natalie, congratulations on your appointment and eternal fame in the Zoetermeer neighborhood!
