Gibson used both heroin and methamphetamine. The latter in particular completely destroyed his muscular body.
Gibson’s mother Jennifer Salfen-Tracy published pictures of his drug-addicted son on social media already in 2019.
In the picture on the left, the bodybuilder is 26 years old. The photo on the right was taken just seven months later.
– This is how quickly drugs work, Salfen-Tracy wrote at the time.
Methamphetamine causes rapid weight loss, skin problems and other dangerous health effects.
According to the mother, Gibson had not announced himself for many weeks at the time the pictures were published. He lived homeless in Los Angeles.
According to News.au, Gibson has now said that he got rid of drugs. It has made his mother happy.
– I got my son back, my children got their brother back and my grandchildren got their father back, Salfen-Tracy rejoices.
– Cody is now “the face of healing” and no longer “the face of heroin and methamphetamine”.
