Drug lab in Rosmalen: three suspects arrested

The police arrested three men on Tuesday in connection with a drug lab that was found in Rosmalen last year. They are suspected of producing synthetic drugs. It concerns a 33-year-old man from Etten-Leur, a 34-year-old man from Made and a 33-year-old man from Alphen aan de Rijn. Police do not rule out the possibility of more people being arrested.

In August 2021, a drug lab was found in a hidden room in a business building on the Kievitsven in Rosmalen. The police came on the trail after a witness reported that he had smelled a strange anise odor around the property. This smell usually indicates the presence of a drug lab, so the police and municipality immediately started an investigation.

A complete amphetamine lab was found in a hidden room. In addition to equipment, there were also chemicals used to produce drugs. After an investigation, the lab was dismantled.
