Drug catch in Gullegem and Staden now turns out to be twenty times greater
On Monday, a police sniffer dog found just over ten kilograms of cocaine destined for England in the cargo area of a truck. But during a house search in the Roeselare region, the police come across many more drugs.
More than 200 kilograms of cocaine and heroin were seized in both the truck in Gullegem and an Airbnb in Staden, good for a street value of 7 million euros. The Lithuanian driver and three Britons have been arrested and appeared in court today. He decided to keep them in jail for another month.
