Emergency services found the man who was missing in the port of Willemstad dead in the water on Thursday morning. A spokesperson for the Central and West Brabant Security Region reports this.
A major search was launched in the night from Wednesday to Thursday to find the man. He boarded a ship and has been missing ever since.
Searches were made in the port, among other things, with a sonar boat and by divers, according to the security region. A helicopter also arrived to assist in the search. It is not yet clear how exactly the man ended up in the water and died. He was around 60 years old, police said. There is currently no information about his identity
