There has been hardly a drop of rain in recent weeks and that will not change in the near future. According to projections by the European Center of Medium-Term Forecasts, the chance of a drier and warmer summer than usual is therefore greater. At the same time, the UN warns that by 2027 the earth will be 1.5 degrees Celsius warmer than before the industrial age for at least one year. “That’s no surprise, but it hurts to see that scientifically confirmed,” says climate expert Jill Peeters.
