Is war coming to Moscow now? After a massive shelling of Kiev with one fatality, the Russian capital became the target of a drone attack on Tuesday morning.

“This morning, at dawn, a drone attack caused minor damage to several buildings,” Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told Telegram. “So far no one has been seriously injured,” quoted the AFP news agency. Reuters, on the other hand, writes that one person is said to have been injured.

“All of the city’s emergency services are on site,” Sobyanin said. Photos and videos shared on the online networks show a drone in the sky, smoke trails and a building hit.

The attack follows a fierce Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kiev earlier in the night that left at least one person dead, according to Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Russian shelling in the middle of the day on Monday caused panic in the Ukrainian capital. (AFP/Reuters/ias)
