The driver training will change on March 1. Supervisors of candidate drivers who start with a so-called provisional driver’s license with a supervisor must then attend a training session. The minimum practice period for candidate directors will be extended from three to five months. This was reported by the Department of Mobility and Public Works. “Both measures only benefit road safety,” says Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works Lydia Peeters (Open VLD).
