Two cars collided this morning at the intersection of Stationslaan with Julianastraat in Beilen. The accident happened just after 7 a.m. just before the railroad crossing.
One of the drivers was injured and taken to a hospital. The two cars sustained heavy damage. The road was temporarily closed due to the collision, but train traffic was not hindered.
The cause of the accident is not yet known and is under investigation by the police.
