A driver of a car was injured in an accident on Boslaan in Emmen last night. For unknown reasons, the car left the road and hit a tree.
The victim was taken to hospital by an ambulance. As far as is known, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police and several ambulances came to the scene of the accident. The Boslaan was temporarily closed to traffic after the accident.
