Two cars collided in a collision at the intersection of Amsterdamse Baan in Lijnden this afternoon. One of the drivers probably fled in a third car before emergency services arrived on the scene.
The accident happened around 2:40 p.m. A passenger car and an SUV collided on the Amsterdamse Baan, causing havoc on the road. The driver of the SUV decided not to wait for the emergency services and probably fled in a third car.

A police spokesperson tells NH that the driver has not yet been found. “We are currently investigating this.”
Although both cars sustained significant damage, no one was injured. The cars were towed away by recovery services, as a result of this work the exits of the A9 were blocked.
