The Berlin police were amazed: A driver was driving in Schöneberg on Monday with an already inflated pool.
It is hardly surprising that people are looking to cool down when the temperatures are high – 36 degrees were reported for Berlin on Monday.
In Schöneberg, a driver couldn’t go fast enough: he had packed an already inflated pool on the roof. Instead of securing the paddling pool with straps, the driver and passenger held it with their hands through the open window.
The Berlin police tweeted the snapshot.
Why the two occupants didn’t inflate the pool on site remains a mystery to some users, too.
A fine is now due.
