Driver drives out in Tilburg from the inside

The residents of the Poststraat in the center of Tilburg were startled by a hard blow on Saturday evening around a quarter past eight. A van that was parked in the industrial hall under the houses rammed into the front of the building from the inside. It is still unknown how this could have happened.

Presumably the owner of the van wanted to move the car where it went wrong. The car slammed into a number of radiators into the wall before driving almost completely out of the front. The owner of the property quickly arrived to inspect the damage. The property is leased to the owner of the van.

The police also came to the building and had the driver do a breath analysis, they are still investigating the cause of the accident. At the moment, the owner of the property is arranging a contractor to screw the facade shut for the night. That can take a while because the car has tilted and is stuck due to the impact.

The houses above the business premises do not have to be evacuated, the residents are released with a fright.
