The accident took place around 10 p.m. in Kemmelstraat, near the intersection with Hooghofstraat. The driver was a 24-year-old woman from Heuvelland. She suffered head injuries and was able to get out of her car. She was taken to hospital and suffered no other serious injuries. No other cars were involved in the accident.
The vehicle itself has now been towed and is completely damaged by the head-on collision.
