Drinkable water again today after gas explosion?
After the gas explosion last week, all utility lines in the vicinity of Christinastraat and Ooststraat were closed. Everything has been connected again since this weekend, including the drinking water. But that does not mean that people can immediately drink the water again: after an interruption in the pipeline, potable water must first flow around everywhere before the water that comes out of the tap is drinkable again.
Today, tests will have to show whether the drinking water in the area in question is potable again.
